Beautiful solid Australian opal. Very good depth of fire in this one. This stone is slightly translucent, allowing all the layers of opal to show through to the surface. All of the colors of fire are present as well including reds, yellows, greens and purples. I purchased this stone from an old stock and re cut it myself to maximize the fire and remove unwanted portions of the stone.
