This ring is made from nickel silver an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel.  It was given a patina through a technique similar to reticulation.  The result is a rustic palate of colors in an organic pattern across the surface of the metal.  The inside has been polished for a better feel and the whole ring has been work hardened to help maintain its perfectly round shape. 

I drilled and hand sawed patter, resembling a lake and stream, which I call "The Source" symbol, has been placed on top of the ring.

Because the patterns which com about from the patina process, no two rings will ever be the same, so this ring is one of a kind.
